Our Story
VisitMD was founded on the belief that modern healthcare has become too rushed and impersonal, especially for seniors and patients managing chronic conditions.
For more than 33 years, Dr. Nguyet Lê (Bác Sĩ Lê Nguyệt) has cared for Vietnamese families across Orange County. Over decades of practice, she became a deeply trusted physician in the community, caring for patients across generations.
As her patients aged, she began to see growing challenges. Seniors were waiting weeks for appointments, sitting in crowded clinics, struggling with mobility and transportation, and receiving rushed visits. Caregivers were overwhelmed, and the traditional clinic model was no longer meeting the needs of an aging community.
Recognizing that Orange County’s senior population was rapidly growing, her son, Hieu Vo, a board-certified family physician and second-generation doctor, created VisitMD.
Dr. Vo is board-certified in Family Medicine and trained to manage complex chronic conditions in older adults. Fluent in English and Vietnamese, and supported by Spanish-speaking staff, VisitMD was designed specifically to serve the diverse senior communities of North and Central Orange County.
VisitMD brings physician-led medical care directly into the patient’s home. By removing the need to travel and allowing more time during visits, physicians can better understand a patient’s health, medications, safety, and living environment.

Dr. Hieu Vo, MD
Dr. Hieu Vo was born and raised in Orange County and grew up in a Vietnamese household, where family, community, and service were central values. His path into medicine was shaped both by his upbringing and by witnessing firsthand the long-term relationships his mother, Dr. Nguyet Lê, built with her patients.
Dr. Vo’s medical journey:
- He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah.
- He then pursued medical training at the American University of Antigua.
- During medical school, he completed clinical training in New York, San Jose, and Orange County, gaining experience across diverse healthcare settings and patient populations.
- He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in San Bernardino, where he trained in both outpatient and inpatient medicine.
After residency, Dr. Vo returned to Anaheim to join Dr. Lê in her private clinic, continuing the family tradition of community-based medicine.
These experiences ultimately led Dr. Vo to create Visit MD, a care model designed to bring thoughtful, physician-led medical care directly into the home for seniors and adults who need a more accessible and personal approach.
Dr. Nguyet Le, MD
Dr. Nguyet Le is a respected primary care physician with more than 30 years of experience caring for seniors in Orange County, with a particular focus on Vietnamese and immigrant communities.
After escaping Vietnam by boat in 1979, Dr. Le rebuilt her life in the United States and dedicated her career to serving older adults who often face language, cultural, and access barriers within the healthcare system. She began practicing medicine in 1993 and later opened her own clinic in 2003, creating a medical home centered on continuity, trust, and culturally competent care for an aging population.
